As well as designing and making bespoke furniture we work on many bespoke projects. These range from small jobs commissioned by residential customers or large jobs such as complete design and fit out of homes/businesses and even exhibition stands. Long awaited personal project we worked on over a quiet Winter period. We needed a shed at home to replace two old sheds. We needed a bespoke space designed around space and needs for myself and my wife! Timber structure clad in beautiful sycamore with a stunning cedar shingle roof.
Client in London wanting desk and storage space for his music/podcast studio but also wanting to section off the room so we designed large mobile moveable storage units that can be wheeled around to different positions.
A project for a local client wanting us to design and make his home work space work for him. Creating an environment where everything has its place! Large desk top with drawers for files, storage and shelving all made from solid oak with a tinted oil finish with sprayed back panels.
Our latest project was renovating a cottage within the grounds of a beautiful house in Wiltshire. Internally the space was small and limited so everything had to have careful thought and be made to measure. The work involved making bespoke furniture: kitchen, foldable dining table, coffee table, storage, shelving and making interior decisions, choosing paint colours, lighting choices etc.
Our most recent project was for a returning client wanting a boot room renovation. Job consisted of bespoke wall panels with hooks and shelving, built in cupboard and benches with shoe storage. We also project managed lighting, flooring and colour scheme.
We were approached by Fulham Prep School to transform their library space into a magical and inspiring place to learn. They were interested in adapting our ‘tree den’ product to create a tree theme throughout. This consisted of a tree screen in the library area and a huge tree in the middle of the library which doubled as a desk to read under. A really enjoyable project to work on!
We have built many stands for Charge Bikes over the years. The brief was always to build something unusual. This particular year we were asked to build a carousel to take over to an exhibition in Germany so it had to be made flat packed. A real show stopper!
The theme for Charge Bikes exhibition stand this year was to be based around a pub ‘The Charge Arms’. Bikes were displayed externally and the office internally. The pavement was made from painted MDF and had real bubble gum stuck to it!
Charge Bikes asked us to build a laundrette this particular year. Bikes were displayed externally and the office housed inside.
'Tim has worked with us at Fulham Prep School in London in the design and manufacture of a magical woodland themed library which is the centre piece of the school and is a perfect home for our reading programme which sits at the heart of the school.
